We know that it is hard starting in a new school, especially if you are new to English. That’s why we do our very best to welcome new families to our school. All families are invited to an induction meeting with the EAL Coordinator, where they are given key information about the school, provided the opportunity to share information about their child and a chance to ask any question they wish. 

To make communication easier, we have several ‘Language Advocates’: parents, staff and governors who volunteer to translate for other parents that share a common language.
